हमारी एक दुकान है। आजकल लॉक डाउन है तो दुकान छोटे दरवाजे (जो कि घर के मुख्य दजवाज़े से जुड़ा हुआ है) वहाँ से चल रही है।
ऐसे में सभी घर पर बैठे हुए हैं। किंतु एक व्यक्ति है जिसे अभी भी बाहर जाना रहता है, कभी सामान लाने, या उसी बहाने घूम कर आने। वो हैं मेरे पिताश्री। जब कभी वो घर पर ऊबने लगते हैं तो बस मस्त शर्ट पेंट डाल, लगा हेलमेट, सारी चिंता छोड़ चल देते हैं बाजार की ओर। अब ऐसे में दुकानदार कौन ? या तो मेरी माताजी ! या फिर… मैं खुद।
बात कल शाम 3:30 या 4:00 बजे की है। धूप हल्की कम हुई ही थी पर तप रही थी। मैं घोड़े बेचकर सो रहा था। यकायक पापा ने अपनी निराली आवाज़ मारी, “परा……..ग”! और मैं झट से उठा। तब शायद 4:20 हो रहे थे। सब चाय पी चुके थे। मेरी बच गयी थी। मैं आया, चाय का कप उठाया और पीने लगा। तभी मम्मी कहती हैं,
“मैंने कम से कम 20 मिनट बचा दिए नींद के। ये तो 4:00 बजे से ही कह रहे थे, उठा दे! उठा दे उसे! मैंने ही चाय बनाई और बोला जाने को। इनका बस चले तो किसी को सोने ही न दें!”
उस बात से मेरी चाय का स्वाद और ज़्यादा बढ़ गया।
