Yesterday, on 4th May 2020, Google’s Danny Sullivan made a tweet about the new update in Google’s core algorithm. It is called “May 2020 Core Update”
This update is the second update after the January 2020 update. SEO Community was in doubt about the effect of Corona virus pandemic on the release of updates.

All major updates have a huge impact on site rankings. SEO professionals have to adapt according to the new updates every time. Soon the effects will forecast what would happen next. The following tweet stated to fully roll out in one to two weeks

This core algorithm update has rolled out amid the time of economic dis-balances when jobs are being laid off. But when algorithms change, the need of the SEO experts becomes more important.
The more its volatility the more useful their jobs will become. So we can assume that this update will bring some good time for the SEO jobs and a significant rise in their demand

If you follow the algorithm updates news regularly, you know well that there is no “fix” for the ranking if it drops down after the modification. Rather, it is suggested to the website owners to make the content as best as it can be.

This update is also a great shift for the digital marketers involved in making digital marketing strategies.

The short and simple answer is, “The content which has no value is called Thin content.” Thin content is a deal of great loss to your website in this update as many websites having thin content, lost their position in Google Search results.
